PLEASURES pay homage to Blur

Share This:

The band at the helm of Britpop in the ‘90s, and the L.A. label renowned for their attention-grabbing attire; it’s an unlikely pair made in heaven. PLEASURES have dived into Blur’s discography for a collection of clothing which celebrates the band through co-branded pieces and all-over prints of their self-titled album.

Returning to the stage in the coming months with a two-night stint at Wembley, Blur remain a focal point in the rich history of the UK music scene, with their influence still making waves today.

As is often the case with PLEASURES, every piece is made to an impeccable standard, and with the head-turning appeal often found across the label’s catalogue. Stand out picks from the collection include the PLEASURES x Blur Hoodie, with matching Joggers also embellished in Blur’s self-titled album of 1997. Lively yellow hues catch the eye straight from the off, whilst plush cotton materials are luxurious to wear time and time again.

Amongst their most iconic tracks, the second single of Blur’s self-titled album is celebrated with the Song 2 T-Shirt which is available in two colourways, whilst the PLEASURES x Blur Cardigan oozes retro. Blur branding sits at the chest, and at the pocket lyrics from ‘Beetlebum’ are embroidered into the design.

‘Movin’ On’ also gets a nod with this collection, with the Movin’ On T-Shirt displaying a graphic print of the band across the front, accompanied by Blur and PLEASURES logos in a clear nod to the collab.
