size? sessions x Rinse FM: 60 seconds with Josh Micky and Elliot Adamson
Last month, we headed to Newcastle for another huge size?sessions event - and what a night it was. In collaboration with Rinse FM, we are hosting an array of rising talent from the city and areas nearby. A city with bags of character – and a rich dance music history – we chose the iconic World HQ venue to host this party. The venue has been at the heart of the city’s vibrant music scene, and it is renowned for its pristine sound and bouncing atmosphere.
Before the event, we managed to catch up with Josh Micky and Elliot Adamson for a quick 60-second chat. Watch both interviews below and find links to their sets!
One of Newcastle’s most hyped talents, house music specialist Elliot Adamson brought his talents to his hometown for a size? sessions x Rinse FM. Dubbed as having similarities to Jackmaster, Adamson knows how to orchestrate crowds with his bouncing house beats. It’s an exciting year for the artist too, with the release of the Another Chemical Love Story EP, plus an array of events around Europe and the UK. Listen to his set here.
A rising talent from the historic walled city, York, Josh Micky is all about upbeat tracks that jump from house to disco, with some Italo thrown in for some throwback ‘80s grooves. Boasting a residency at Calypso in York, his name is firmly established within the city – it doesn’t stop there though.
