Stylish and effortlessly classic, the New Balance 1300 was first released in 1984 as a top of the range running shoe, built for functionality on the tracks. Part of the ‘Made in USA’ line, this retro wonder has received many reissues over the years, and it is regarded as one of the greats in the vast New Balance archives.

Fortunately, a new model is set to arrive early this year in a striking red colourway with grey and white detailing. To offer the silhouette’s renowned underfoot support, it comes with NB’s ENCAP tech, which is a sturdy PU Shell with a soft EVA wedge for plush cushioning and extra stability. Up top, there’s premium breathable mesh and nubuck for added comfort plus bold ‘N’ logos down the sidewalls. Further branding sits on the tongue and heel, and to finish, there’s a grippy rubber sole unit beneath, to offer support on slippery terrains.

The New Balance 1300 is out on Saturday 9th January and will be available online. It comes in men’s and women’s sizes and is priced at £200.
