The iconic b-ball brand teams up with Les Rouge et Bleu to remodel some of the brand’s most iconic designs.

Jordan’s partnership with Paris Saint-Germain continues with a football-themed remodelling of Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan 4. This classic silhouette was first released in 1989 as a high-performance court shoe that was worn by MJ when he made “The Shot”, a passage of play that saw Chicago Bulls win the fifth game of the 1989 NBA First Round. It is a design steeped in b-ball glory, now the brand link up with a European football colossus for the ‘PSG’ Air Jordan 4.

This trainer goes for a ‘Bordeaux’ colourway, smooth white leather acts as the foundation of these sneaks, with purple and black overlays, plus a light grey suede bumper at the front. PSG x Jumpman branding joins on the heel on a circular crest while more traditional Jumpman branding crowns the trainers on the tongue. The surname of the French capital and its suburbs, ‘Paname’, is located the lateral sidewall; on the midsole, a noticeable Air Bubble unit offers an authentic touch and provides unrivalled comfort.

The collaboration continues with another remodelling of a Jordan classic, the Jordan Zoom 92, which has been inspired by the Parisian football team. The crossover comes with all the heritage tech that defined this court classic, visible Zoom Air in the midsole provides supportive cushioning and a foam midsole adds to the overall comfort underfoot, making every step a pleasure.

The design comes into its own on the upper though, with a range of textures and colours. The silhouette has soft grey suede covers the toe-box with bold black overlays and a red wine-like ‘Bordeaux’ roof and Swooshing to contrast. A PSG x Jumpman badge is on the heel, and a ‘Paname’ tag sits just above authentic Nike Air branding on the lateral wall, finishing off an iconic collaboration.

The Jordan x PSG collection is available on the size? Launches app now, and will land in selected stores on Saturday 10th October. They’re available in both men’s and women’s sizes priced between £105 and £130
