Friday night saw BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage curate the line-up for the Depot, including a headlining trio of MK, Gorgon City and Diplo.
Spending almost three decades in the business, Mark Kinchen has explored many musical avenues throughout his career. Working as a producer, DJ and renowned remixer, Mark’s work touches on genres such as house and techno, alongside elements of R&B and hip-hop.
An epic name that tops any line-up, Diplo is a multi-faceted producer who’s risen in prominence on a more commercial scale in recent years. As well as putting out many of his own tracks, he’s a key member in side-projects Major Lazer, LSD, and Silk City.
A production and DJ duo from London, Gorgon City (DJ’s RacknRuin & Foamo) have produced a number of successful dancefloor hits in their seven-year existence.
Keep an eye on the blog next week for our exclusive interviews with some of the artists on the bill, including Gorgon City.
As part of our size? sponsorship of this season of Warehouse Project, each week we’ll be reporting from the Depot. We’ll be speaking to many of the artists on each eclectic line-up, seeing what everyone’s wearing on foot, and showcasing the spectacle that is the Mayfield Depot.
