size? x WHP Event Recap – Kaluki Presents

Share This:

Weekend two of the new Warehouse Project season was curated by local house night Kaluki, who’ve been a staple in Manchester since 2006. As well as hosting some enormous headline names across all three rooms, the night gave Kaluki a chance to showcase the local up-and-coming talent that regularly contributes to events around the city.

Headliners for this event included Düsseldorf’s Loco Dice, Nastia, Skream and current world record holder for the longest solo DJ set (!), Joseph Capriati. You really got a sense of the scale of the venue this week, as every room was rammed from wall to wall throughout the entire night. The concourse, in particular, is a great new element, incorporating a ‘360-degree dancefloor’ around a sunken DJ booth for an immersive clubbing experience.

This week we also introduced our size? fan base; located in the Archive room, it’s the perfect spot to cool down mid-set amidst the chaos of the music.

Each week we’ll be reporting from the Warehouse Project, speaking to artists on the eclectic line-up every week, seeing what everyone’s wearing on foot, and showcasing the spectacle that is the Depot.
