Nike Air Max Dia QS

After the release of the hugely popular Air Max 270 earlier in the year, Nike have followed it up with yet another big bubbled silhouette: the Air Max Dia. The design process of the women’s exclusive was a four-female footwear collective, made from the work of a designer, an engineer, a developer and product manager, all of which imparted their vision for this exciting new silhouette.

Up top, a deconstructed Nexkin upper – similar to those seen on the React Element 87 or a Zoom Fly SP – sports a translucent, foot-hugging fabric; introduced so that the user can show off their sock choice for the day. The shoe’s toe box boasts a tapered fit which fits snug around the upper half of your feet, while the four dots on the pair’s heel symbolises the four disciplines which brought the shoe to life.

Underfoot, the Dia’s elegant stack height was incorporated by the team to ‘highlight the Air unit in the biggest way possible’. The end result is a bulky midsole, which due to its sizeable proportions, boasts even more foam cushioning; subsequently delivering more comfort to the wearer. Finally, a rubber outsole features on the underside to ensure you stay glued to the surface.

Both colourways of the Air Max Dia will be available via the size?Previews app and in size? stores on Friday 14th December, priced at £105.
