Nike Vaporwave Collection

Delving into their archives, Nike return for Spring with strong 90s vibes in the shape of their Vaporwave collection. Taking inspiration from an electronic subculture originating in early 2010, Vaporwave is a surrealist fascination with advertising, entertainment, technology of the 80s and 90s within youth culture. Aesthetically, the range references classic pieces from the sportswear back-catalogue, looking at vibrant nylon shellsuits and colours found residing in the era.

The range consists of a fleeced reversible hooded vest that reverses into a nylon vest, nylon track pants and matching over-the-head half-zip track jackets that pack-away into a handy over the shoulder bag. Constructed from fleece and nylon material for added durability and quality, the collection comes in a mix of neon’s and pastel colours, featuring block panelling for a late 80s early 90s aesthetic.

Also, featuring in the shoot are the Air Span II. We styled the collection up with matching Air Span II’s colourways, to compliment the 80s/90s aesthetic within the shoot.
