Diadora Heroes – ‘Return of a Legend’

Originally released as the Seb Impact, the Heroes was a running specific silhouette first launched in 1985. The key feature of the shoe, and one that Diadora kept very close to their chest whilst developing, was a customisable stability system in the sole unit, which allowed the wearer to insert different weights in different positions to help balance weight and cushion the impact of the shoe on the track.
Said to also help an athletes posture, the weight stability system was seen as way ahead of its time and as a result the popularity of the shoe was such that it successfully positioned the Italian brand as a competitive force in the fast developing running footwear market.
Back for summer 2012, with a new name and as part of Diadora’s collection, the Heroes will be available exclusively from size? stores and online in April (exact date TBC).
