adidas Originals Montreal – new colourway

When first released, the Montreal was originally intended to be a post-game shoe for footballers competing in the 1976 Olympic Games. The special feature was a fold-down ‘foxing’ that meant they could be worn without having to be unlaced. This multifunction aspect and the silhouettes simple styling made it a hit in the 1980’s with football fans who helped it transcend from the training ground to the terraces.
