Second is something a little bit special…adidas and size? are celebrating 60 years of Soles and Stripes this year and really doing it in style! As part of the celebration of their rich heritage adidas have teamed up with Watson to produce a limited edition book called The World is Yours, full of shots of some of the worlds biggest music stars donning their three stripes.
Born in Hammersmith, London, Lawrence took up photography in the late 70s and in the late 80s was commissioned to document the merging New York Hip-hop scene and his portraits from that era include Un DMC, Eric B and Rakim and Public Enemy. His interest in music lead him to work with the likes of Paul Weller, Oasis Pulp, Snoop, Orbital and many more, most of which are captured in this full colour glossy book.
The book launches this Friday, 24th July in the following size? stores Covent Garden, Leeds, Liverpool, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Belfast.
