Nike Air Zoom Spiridon & Air Max 98 ‘GMT’ Pack

There are many decades worth of shoes that sit with Nike’s storied vault, and there’s no era more prolific at the moment in making a comeback than the 90’s. For this latest UK Exclusive ‘GMT’ Pack, Nike have called upon the Zoom Air Spiridon and Air Max 98 for a duo of colourways. The pack draws colour and material inspiration from the Meridian Line, the physical marker of the GMT timezone in the UK.

After receiving a warm welcome back last month with the re-issue of the OG ‘Gundam’ colourway, we’re starting to see a rollout of many more renditions of Nike’s Air Max 98, a shoe that celebrates it’s 20th anniversary this year. The aesthetic of the technical runner means you’ve always got a lot of different options to play with in terms of colour blocking and material application. This GMT variation adds an extra panel into the mix, branded up with the iconic ‘AIRMAX’ stamp (a logo combining both words which has confused a lot of people over the years!) on the instep. Gold wraps around the toeguard surround and also features on the mini-swoosh and strapping.

The Air Zoom Spiridon takes a similar approach in appearance, switching the gold out for a Ruby red that spans the length of the mudguard, iridescent swoosh and ghilly detailing. The Gold embroidered ’00:00′ insignia references the Longitude Zero, the Grenwich marker on the Meridian line.

The Nike ‘GMT’ pack will be available via the size?previews App and in selected size? stores (keep an eye on your local stores Instagram profile for more information) on Friday 16th February, with the Air Max 98 priced at £150, and the Zoom Air Spiridon priced at £115.
