The ‘City Flip’ pack binds two existing shoes from our 2010 and 2020 Anniversary City series and drapes an alternative model; the Campus 80s – a canvas made for a creative rework. Boasting a “change of skin” concept to each pair’s leather uppers, each original city colourway eventually fades away in time and with wear, revealing a new city’s full clad. A particularly unique first for both adidas Originals and size?.

Birmingham transforms into Joburg, Dublin to Liverpool and lastly London to Shanghai – all lending themselves to any lifestyle rotation. Branded touches like the 3-Stripes and heel counter are offset with contrasting shades and alternating footbeds nod to both cities. The retro models rest atop comfy rubber outsoles offering durability, support, and of course some much-needed grip. To finish, hallmark Campus branding graces the sidewalls cementing the shoe in the brand’s lineage.

Testing the “change of skin” concept, we headed to @houseskatepark in Sheffield with @elliottjaybrown, @enzieldn, and @k_u_s_h_k_i. Each unveiled the Twin Cities, showcasing how the shoes evolve – from London to Shanghai, Dublin to Liverpool, and Birmingham to Joburg.
