New Balance 247 Luxe

Beginning a new journey within modern footwear design, New Balance present the newest addition to their extensive product range, the 247 Luxe.

Elements of their archive are visible throughout the silhouette, showcasing a storied history of shoes produced over the decades both on British shores, as well as those of the US and Asia. Taking the form of a lifestyle product over a purely performance based shoe, details included pay homage to precursor models that have helped the brand gain momentum in the market over the years. Asymmetrical details on the toe vamp nod to the 1300, the collar strap can be seen on both the predominantly UK made 574 and 576, and an evolved form of the 998 REVlite midsole unit sits underfoot.

The launch pack for the 247 see’s a duo of luxury leather colourways releasing to kick off activity. The leather works alongside a neoprene sock construction to add an element of flexibility and weightlessness to the shoe, whilst still maintaining premium levels of comfort. Launch colourways for the 247 include a luxurious maple brown that really shows off the debossed branding, as well as a staple black rendition that serves as an archetype for the shoe going forward.
