Once again, we’re en route to Stuttgart for our next adidas Originals Archive ‘City Series’ release. 

As we always like to do, let us fill you in on the ‘City Series’ in case you’re not clued up on your adidas history:

Introduced throughout the 70s and early 80s, the collection chronicled 24 European cities, with each commemorative shoe characterised by a unique colourway. Many of the silhouettes have gone on to receive cult status among collectors, and the Stuttgart is arguably a pinnacle silhouette. First working on the shoe back in 2020 as a part of our anniversary celebrations, we just knew it would receive a rousing reception for the ‘24 iteration – that will be no doubt talked about for years to come. 

Moving to the tooling then. Soft smooth leather drapes the shoe paying tribute to our 2020 black version. Sharing its title with the capital of southwest Germany’s Baden-Württemberg state, the size? exclusive Stuttgart exhibits a new earthy brown colourway with green heel tab overlays. These hues hark to the landscape and green spaces surrounding Stuttgart including vineyards the city is known for. Gold ‘Stuttgart ‘24’ lettering decorates the sidewalls, OG dimple tongues return and signature rubber soles meld the archival aesthetic.
