The Steep Tech collection by The North Face was originally designed in 1991 by extreme-skier Scot Schmidt; the first release involved an iconic jacket that revolutionised apparel for the sport with a range of practical features and durable materials that were crafted to endure mountainous terrains.

Whilst the collection was originally designed for practicality on the slopes; it soon made its way to freezing urban confines, becoming a cult streetwear staple for NYC youth and hip-hop faces. The icy conditions of NYC made the gear the perfect essential for swanning around the streets.

Steep Tech’s undeniable impact on the slopes and the streets have turned the name into a cult classic. For this reason, the hype is real when The North Face brings out fresh Steep Tech gear; now, the iconic technical streetwear collaboration returns with a fresh new range, ready to kit you out for icy days.

The collection has a wide span of high-quality, long-lasting gear including: practical utility vests, proper cosy puffers, super-soft fleeces, long and short-sleeve cotton tees, highly practical bags and durable Steep Tech pants.

The North Face Steep Tech collection will be available in selected size? stores and on the website from Saturday 24th October
