Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70s
Borrowing subtle details from footwear collections from an era when Converse was celebrated by iconic rock & roll stars, championship winning basketball legends and skateboarders that “ripped” pools, the ‘70s Chuck Taylor has now been re-crafted to the specifications from over 35 years ago. To introduce us to the collection, Converse has landed a selection of original colourways that represent both the influential era and the heritage behind the brand perfectly, showcased in both high and low models.
The 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star collection features slight differences that, at first, may only be recognizable to collectors and astute fans. Upon inspection however they feature a higher rubber foxing along the sole, added cushioning and a slightly more substantial toe box. In addition they included classic details such as enhanced stitching on the sidewall, a vintage license plate on the heel and a super heavy-grade canvas upper.
The Converse 1970s Chuck Taylor are now available online in both HIGH and LOW styles, as well as being available in selected size? stores from their respective opening times, priced from £65 and in UK sizes 5 – 12 (including half sizes).
