1989 was a big year for adidas, releasing some of the most revolutionary running shoes to date, such as the technologically advanced ZX9000. It was one of the first running shoes at that time to feature the newly introduced Torsion system, which had been designed specifically to both support the midfoot and provide increased movement during running.

Even with all of the ground-breaking technology included, it was the head-turning colourways that got peoples attention, sporting what seemed like a feminine palette filled with a multitude of pastels. Back for it’s third original reissue, as part of the adidas Originals Archive, minimal changes have been made allowing this classic model to still showcase its innovative mesh infused heel brace, along with some of the most effective characteristics that we have seen in a long time.
