Nike Air Max ‘Skulls’ Pack
Continuing to roll out a great selection of Quickstrike releases, Nike present their latest ‘Skulls’ rendition of three Air Max icons. The Skull insignia found on each pair harks back to 2006’s cult Air Max 1 release, but with the palette this time stripped back to monochrome.
Consisting of an Air Max 1, Air Max 90 and Air Max 95, the pack follows thematic colour and material placement across each shoe. The upper consists of a combination of leather, suede and canvas, all dressed in black but varying in tone due to material choice. Each midsole is coloured up in a vibrant white, outlined by the black outsole.
Each shoe is then finished off with the embroidered skull insignia on the tongue, illustrated in what appears to be a reference to 2006’s Air Max 1 ‘Skulls Pack’. The Skull originally used on this first pack referenced the ‘Pirates’ logo of Nike runner Steve Prefontaine’s High School, Marshfield.
The Nike Air Max ‘Rebel Skull’s Pack is available online and in selected size? stores now (Please note, the Air Max 1 is available ONLINE ONLY).
