The design around the collection looks at a journey from the Porsche factory in Zuffenhasuen, Stuttgart to the home of PUMA in Herzogenaurach which lies in the heart of Germany, in a vintage Porsche vehicle. Using a classic Porsche as inspiration, we looked at what this 230km journey would resemble through retro-style PUMA footwear, the Super Team, and classic sports tracksuits and accessories. Incorporating vintage car interiors and the surrounding autumnal landscape of the commute, the colour palette encompasses chocolate browns, forest greens, and traditional PUMA golds and whites.

Paying homage to Porsche’s vintage racing culture, this partnership seamlessly merges the two brands’ heritage with an authentic street-style collection across footwear and apparel. The brown PUMA x Porsche Super Team is reminiscent of vintage leather brown racing gloves and the timeless sophistication of classic Porsche car interiors. The Green colourway with diamond-stitched Formstrips and a vertically stitched tongue represents the classic interior of a Porsche car. Both pairs feature a unique touch too – hidden under the sidewall Super Team tab are PUMA and Porsche HQ GPS coordinates showcasing the connection between the German brands.

Beyond the beloved classic Super Team, the collaboration introduces a line of unique apparel inspired by classic Porsche racing, with graphics similar to the iconic Porsche 911 rally car, including a clever touch with Porsche’s logo in the form of a car speedometer. The logo contains Google map diagrams of both Porsche and PUMA HQs, showcasing the closeness between the two German powerhouse brands from Herzogenaurach to Stuttgart.
