We’ll be looking at the heritage-infused adidas Originals Milano OG, vintage basketball interpretations of adidas’ Forum Low 86 and Rivalry Low models plus the iconic Nike Cortez.

adidas Originals Milano OG ‘Navy/Gold’ – ?exclusive

A true classic from the depths of the archive, the Milano – an original release from the famed ‘European City Series’ of the mid to late 1970s – is a shoe steeped in terrace history. Favoured by many because of its clean toe-box – a relatively rare feature on adidas Originals releases – the build of Milano is classic adidas; simple and understated. This one features design cues that are so similar to the original iterations with buttery suede uppers and golden leather adding contrast via 3-Stripes and heel tab. Milano branding proudly displays identity, and a gum rubber sole adds to the overall vintage aesthetic.

adidas Originals Rivalry Low – ?exclusive

Rising back to popularity in recent years, the adidas Originals Rivalry was born during the basketball heydays of the 80s and was worn by the likes of NBA hall-of-famer Patrick Ewing. Available on our shelves once more, this latest version features all the signature OG details. Boasting premium tumbled leather uppers and suede accents, a one-piece EVA midsole and a non-marking cupsole for glue-like grip sets up the shoe. 3-Stripes signal heritage and brings a vintage look with a modern feel to your collection.  

adidas Originals Forum 86 – ?exclusive

For the legendary adidas Originals Forum 86 Low we’ve retained almost all of the charm of the 1984 to honour that golden era in basketball. Traditional elements like the ankle strap have been stripped back, reinventing the silhouette and offering the shoe a premium feel and look. Suede uppers in a grey hue are nicely ventilated thanks to perforations at the toe box and sidewall whilst 3-Stripes and Trefoil labeling pay homage to heritage. Finishing things off underfoot is a rubber outsole supplying grip and traction with every step.

Nike Cortez ‘Grey’ – ?exclusive

After five decades and many iterations, the emblematic Nike Cortez remains mostly unchanged in appearance, but its runner history will forever be cemented within Nike’s heritage. We couldn’t wait to get to work on Bill Bowerman’s design giving it that ?exclusive touch. Keeping the similar design lines as the ’72 except with a slightly newer shape, we’ve kept to its minimal uppers, bold insignias, and tacky soles, but just opted for a perforated suede upgrade. Vintage tooling and classic script from the original Cortez advert appears on the reverse of the tongue label which is something you really get to admire in hand too.
