From time to time, we like to celebrate our favourite movies on our size? Exclusive releases. Last year, we showcased Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 spin on Romeo + Juliet on the legendary Superstar silhouette. Loud and proud, this trainer was a vibrant homage to the iconic Shakespeare tragedy. Now, we nod to another ‘90s classic – Fight Club.

For this size? Exclusive, we have taken the Campus ’80 silhouette, and reworked it with a bunch of homages to David Fincher’s legendary cult classic. Throughout the trainer, there is an abundance of features that nod to different bits of iconography from the film. We couldn’t think of a better trainer than the adidas Originals Campus ’80, a canvas made for a creative rework.

For this design, there was so much to include, so we opted for an asymmetric model to make sure the homage was complete. The right shoe nods to Tyler Durden, The Narrator’s split personality. His well-known shirt pattern is replicated on this shoe, with fur 3-Stripes and Hustler lettering on the lateral sidewall.  

The opposite shoe features references to The Narrator, nodding to his oxford shirts, iconic sticker and the chaotic ‘Project Mayhem’. Cigarette burns are used as the top eyelet, and smoky midsoles add to the array of visuals. This shoe is an attempt to re-tell this legendary story, and to finish off the package, the shoebox references the iconic pink soap from the film. If you are a die-hard fan, new to the film or somewhere in-between – this is a collector’s item that you can’t miss.
