Electronic & Analogue producer Mura Masa took the reigns at Warehouse Project last Friday, selecting a line-up that blended the worlds of DJing and live performance.

In a very short space of time, multi-instrumentalist Mura Masa has risen to becoming a well-respected creative partner for artists to work with. The line-up of features on his self-titled debut album speaks for itself, with cameo’s from A$AP Rocky, Damon Albarn and Charlie XCX. Working in a live-capacity for this event, Crossan took to a stand-up drum kit and live guitars to project his sound, with a guest appearance from past collaborator NAO.

Everything was focused around the Depot space on this night. The mixed role call included two Mercury Prize nominee’s in the form of Black Midi and Nao, who have both released incredible music this year that received the recognition it deserved. Lucky Me’s Jacques Green and Paul Woolford (under his Special Request pseudonym) manned the turntables towards the end of the night.

As part of our size? sponsorship of this season of Warehouse Project, each week we’ll be reporting from the Depot. We’ll be speaking to many of the artists on each eclectic line-up, seeing what everyone’s wearing on foot, and showcasing the spectacle that is the Mayfield Depot.
