PUMA H-Street | Run It Back Event Recap

We ran it back to Daily Spaces Studio in Ancoats, Manchester, with PUMA, where we celebrated the return of the H-Street as well as the label’s 2000s golden era when track and field legacy collided with streetwear. The weather outside wasn’t quite up to scratch, but inside heart and soul was in surplus supply. Check out what went down below.

The crowd were welcomed with spicy aromas and generous servings of jovial Caribbean BBQ goodness courtesy of @JerkJunction’s food van, who offered up trademark Jamaican recipes to give us the fuel we needed for a remote yet rhythmic dub session. The ideal introduction to a night that was rife with jungle roots spirit and refreshed by Ting, Magnum and plenty of Red Stripe.

Under the venue lights, the space had been masterfully curated with bespoke tapestries, a wall mural by @piicasa and custom spray-painted barrels in those glorious red, gold and green hues. Commanding the tunes, DJ decks led up by @habitat.mcr and Passa Productions emitted all things carnival sound with zero let up.

You already know that free pairs of H-Streets, tees and totes were primed and ready to be gifted, and as always with PUMA, there was more than enough to go around – so everyone left with some form of keepsake to take home with them. Classy as always from the German giants.

When it hit 11pm, it was obvious that the night was far from over, so we kept it running – much to the satisfaction of everyone who’d made the time and effort to come out. As always, thank you for coming through, and stay tuned for the next one…

The PUMA H-Street is available online at size? now.
