Meet the winners of the size? syllabus awards, supported by Salomon

Following a successful collaboration with one of our favourite labels and our syllabus academic brand partner for 2024 – Salomon – we hosted the size? syllabus awards at The Box in Soho, for an evening celebrating community and creativity. A champagne reception set the perfect celebratory tone and Pizza Pilgrims was on the menu, while a game of luck – a live heads or tails – gave students the chance to take home a pair of Salomon trainers, along with a mini XT-6 keyring from @sneakerplanters.
Each award centred around important industry themes, pushing candidates to explore the limits of their creativity and originality. The results? Nothing short of astonishing. We can now share the winners of the awards and a first look at their amazing work from our eight partner universities – get stuck in…
Research & Development Award – Molli Childs, Arts University Bournemouth, ‘Trail Charms’
Molli’s work focused on trail walking with a limited edition Salomon charm to collect.
Visionary Award & Salomon Excellence Award – Millie Plant, Northumbria University, ‘Cool Down. Gear Up’
This fun ice-cream-based store activation nodded to Salomon’s origins as a skiing brand from Annecy.
Styling & Creative Direction Award – Annabelle Dyer, Southampton Solent ‘#yoursalomonstyle’
Annabelle’s talent-based campaign centralised on a cool ‘weird girl/eclectic grandpa aesthetic’ styling idea.
Breaking the Mould Award – Holly Shore, UCLAN, ‘Where do you wear?’
Holly’s social campaign encouraged the size? consumer to share their everyday activities wearing Salomon product.
Community & Culture Award – Leah Fan, Northumbria University, ‘Saving the Arts Shouldn’t Have Strings Attached’
Focusing on Birmingham, Leah’s Saving the Arts presentation gave us a full omnichannel approach.
