Late last Thursday we hosted a remote event for the launch of the PUMA Speedcat at Ancoats Studio, Manchester; a location which retains hints of the old, industrious backbone of our UK home.

Inspired by the slimline, fireproof styles of Formula 1 – PUMA’s Speedcat first graced the scene back in 1999, and quickly cemented its place within a niche sporting subgenre which inevitably derailed over and onto the circuits of global fashion.

Hidden away behind the PVC curtains, @smirnoffeurope stirred up all things complimentary cocktails while inside the studio the scene was set and stolen by a niche, custom-wrapped Mazda RX-7 FC courtesy of @rx7.mazon.

Memorable touches were provided in the form of personalised nail art by @nailsbymillsalv, plus a station for personalised engraved keychains which made for the ultimate keepsake that harks back to the Speedcat’s motorsport influenced origins. Class.

You already know that the night couldn’t be strung up without a live music performance. Tying the momentous occasion together, Brooklyn native @taliaagoddess closed the picturesque show in serene style.
