Our auspicious collaboration with adidas Originals and Marvel brings the Marathon TR and Gazelle to life, immersing them in a world of an engineering genius. Nodding to uniforms worn by fictional employees at the largest tech conglomerate, Stark Industries. Both shoes in the ‘Stark Industries’ Pack are inspired by individuals working in these enterprises, who would receive a pair of Marathon TRs or Gazelles along with their uniforms. 

Up-speccing the Marathon TR’s tooling, it boasts rubber printed toes, heel bumpers, and rubber dipped laces to reinforce durability needed for a workshop environment. Uppers are designed with cool white mesh and beige overlays including sidewall 3-Stripes and the co-branded tongue label. The silhouette’s striking midsole sits underfoot and houses a bespoke blueprint insole while the protruding outsole – with a traction element solely made from layered Trefoils – maintains secure footing on any terrain.

The latter is executed in navy suede which forms the backdrop for the 3-Stripes that are coated in colours from Stark’s ‘Better Living Through Technology’ posters. adidas Originals and Marvel golden branding feature on the white leather tongue, while the signature branding that calls out the shoe’s namesake gets updated to ‘Stark Expo’ lettering emblazoned on the sides. Rounding out the Gazelle’s design are illustrated circuit board footbeds – like designs you might find in Tony Stark’s workshop – and textured rubber soles.
