size?sessions headed over to Leeds to celebrate the opening of our all-new size?leeds store back in June. Spread over two floors, the space has been curated specifically taking inspiration from the city’s discovery of the X-ray. To celebrate the city, was only right to have a really special roster of local talent including Mya Craig headlining with August Charles and Noah joining the mix – check out the evening below.

Mya Craig

Independent singer/songwriter Mya Craig has been writing her music since she was 14 blending vibrant R&B notes with neo-soul compositions and inviting melodies. Mya has been honing in on her writing and vocal abilities including that soulful hook by studying the greats and over the past couple of years, she has debuted her nostalgic yet fresh art form on social media racking up over 150K views on TikTok. Rising through the ranks, she’s performed alongside Donell Jones and supported Jacquees, ATL and Bobby Valentino as well as receiving critical acclaim from industry luminaries Link Up TV, BBC Radio Leeds, and R&B mogul Ari Lennox.

August Charles

Born in Ndola, Leeds-based August Charles combines colourful vocal arrangements, rich instrumentals, and alluring lyricism – all of which have allowed August to make noise in the scene. In 2021, the release of his hit single ‘Blessed’ gained industry-wide support and helped to garner popularity. As well as 2022 performances at Tramlines Festival, A Stones Throw Festival, and more under his belt, August’s impressive, shared stage history includes the likes of Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Emeli Sandé, Gotts Street Park, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Adi Oasis.

 DJ Noah

Taking the international scene by storm, DJ Noah brings garage, grime, house, hip-hop and amapiano together into a soulful hybrid mix. His eclectic energy shines through his sets and he has gained a devout following through playing lives sessions all over the globe.
