Heading into the latter part of 2022, we couldn’t think of a better way to finish off our adidas journey than with these exclusive Athens. We’ve added two new colourways to the – already impressive – roster, and can finally introduce you to the duo which was inspired by the vibrancy of Athens’ Monastiraki flea market. Tablewear, plates, artwork and even the floor all played a part when it came to choosing the colourways – and the final result is pretty outstanding, if we say so ourselves.

Each pair stays true to the OG Japanese-exclusive, with the same proportions carried through making them 1-to-1 replicas in terms of set-up. The first ?exclusive Athen arrives with buttery smooth brown uppers, decorated with lively orange 3-Stripes on the lateral and medial sidewalls. It includes a dose of sunny yellow on the heel, following the tradition of a contrasting heel which can be seen on many ?exclusives.

The second is a slick blue pair, which comes with soft suede uppers and serrated 3-Stripes down the sidewalls for that signature adi touch. A darker blue fills the heel branding while tongue labelling elevates the heritage. Gum soles contrast underfoot finishing off with sticky grip and a seamless retro look.
