Nike Air Yeezy 1 ‘Zen Grey’ – re-size? charity draw | draw closed
The first charity draw for re-size? sees us bring back an undisputed grail of the sneaker world – feast your eyes upon the elusive Nike Air Yeezy 1 ‘Zen Grey’.
First released in April 2009, this future-thinking silhouette landed in three distinguishable colourways: ‘Zen Grey’, ‘Blink’ and ‘Net Tan’. This triple release marked the beginning of Kanye West’s first partnership with Nike, opting for traditional basketball-inspired design cues combined with striking abstract details that would cement it in the sneaker history books.
The Nike Air Yeezy 1 ‘Zen Grey’ opts for a traditional colourway with vibrant and daring pops of colour throughout. Buttery suede covers the toe cap while heavily perforated leather wraps around the upper, providing a nicely-ventilated feel. Additionally – on the multi-textural upper – smooth grey leather coats the reverse, plus a patent leather foot strap locks you for a premium fi – nodding to ’80s court and streetwear classics.
We can’t forget the sole unit either; this classic look stays true to the Nike Air lineage. Sturdy rubber keeps things long-lasting and grippy underfoot, while visible Air units keep every movement cloud-like. Splashes of colour feature on the lace jewel, plus signature sidewall Swooshes and Yeezy-labelled heel pull tabs are the crowning touches.
The Nike Air Yeezy 1 ‘Zen Grey’ draw starts on Monday 25th April and ends Friday 29th April. This draw is exclusive to size?access members-only; entries will be £10 and proceeds will go to charity. Draw now closed.
