3-Stripe heritage in action. We are bringing back the adidas Originals SL 82 this season, with a colouring that nods to the OG blue and gold trainer. It’s the shoes that are immersed in mystery that we love, and the SL 82 certainly provides that.

Plucked from the ‘80s, this streamlined silhouette has been on the radar of terrace connoisseurs ever since, so we decided to nod to the OG where we could to fulfil these 3-Stripe needs.

Dressed in rich blue hues, this trainer has a classic nylon base accompanied by sumptuously soft suede overlays. Amid the nylon and suede upper is texturally and colour contrasting yellow leather on the heel and serrated 3-Stripes. This all sits atop of a rubber sole unit that features the same neon-ish yellow, differing from the gold found on the OG.

Furthermore, a serrated gum sole unit provides grip underfoot, while a toe bumper prevents scuffs. Finalising this trainer is minimal tongue branding, while SL 82 labelling is etched onto the first lateral stripe; rows of Trefoils cover the insole for when you are admiring by hand.
