We are huge fans of New Balance at size?, and recently, we have received the green light on making the 327 and 237 models our own. Now, our next exclusive New Balance silhouette is the 57/40, the brand’s exaggerated and contemporary version of the 574. Also in the capsule is an array of exclusive sportswear for you to layer up in this season. On offer is an array of staple streetwear cuts, ranging from a grey-hued tracksuit to some must-have tees to sign the outfit off.

Our exclusive 57/40 took a few goes to make perfect; super layered and bulky, we made the silhouette our own while staying true to the brand, using grey hues synonymous with New Balance. The overall design references a few modern outdoor jackets and shoes that have been circulating recently, opting for a techy yet traditional approach.

The layered upper opts for fur-like suede overlays in creamy, grey and bold black tones. Smooth leather forms the enlarged ‘N’s on the sidewalls, plus there is carefully crafted mesh on the base, enhancing its techy aesthetic. Underfoot, lightweight cushioned soles feature and a grippy rubber tread is beneath for a supportive finish.
