We are back with another size?sessions, and this time we are heading up to the North East for another huge party on Thursday 18th November. In collaboration with Rinse FM, we are hosting an array of rising talent from the city and areas nearby. A city with bags of character – and a rich dance music history – we have chosen the iconic World HQ venue to host this party. The venue has been at the heart of the city’s vibrant music scene, and it is renowned for its pristine sound and its bouncing atmosphere – we can’t wait to see you there. Before the event, we thought we’d introduce the line-up – have a read about each artist below and get in the mood for our next event…

Elliot Adamson

One of Newcastle’s most hyped talents, house music specialist Elliot Adamson is bringing his talents to the next size?sessions x Rinse FM show in his hometown. Dubbed as having similarities to Jackmaster, Adamson knows how to orchestrate crowds with his bouncing house beats. It’s an exciting year for the artist too, with the release of the Another Chemical Love Story EP, plus an array of events around Europe and the UK. The next stop is his hometown for a size?sessions show – you don’t want to miss this one.

Josh Micky

A rising talent from the historic walled city, York, Josh Micky is all about upbeat tracks that jump from house to disco, with some Italo thrown in for some throwback ‘80s grooves. Boasting a residency at Calypso in York, his name is firmly established within the city – it doesn’t stop there though. Josh Micky has ventured to clubs around Europe, Burning Man Festival and the acid house hotspot, Liverpool. Don’t sleep on this artist, in fact, come and see him at the next size?sessions x Rinse in Newcastle.

CCM

We are buzzing to announce that CCM will be joining this amazing line-up, as we continue to showcase Newcastle’s abundance of DJing talent. Charlotte Maughan has no boundaries when it comes to her sets, you’ll hear everything from Techno, deep tech, house and disco when she is behind the decks. Boasting sets on Method and TRHY radio – plus a vast collection of mixes – CCM is making a statement as one of Newcastle’s best-rising DJs – see it for yourself at the next size?sessions.

Tommy 2000

Rising fast on the scene, Tommy 2000 is joining the roster for the next size?sessions x Rinse FM. Tommy 2000 has built up quite the portfolio on his Soundcloud, offering an array of eclectic mixes, edits and podcasts for his ever-growing following. From Jamie XX’s ‘Gosh’ to Playboi Carti ‘Magnolia’ – it seems there is little he can’t rework. What’s more, Tommy 2000’s link up with KETTAMA on Rinse FM is available on his Soundcloud if you want to get in the mood for his set.
