Boasting a history of lauded Halloween revamps, Nike is now reimagining the Air Force 1 Low, delivering a ‘Purple Skeleton Halloween’ guise with glow-in-the-dark features in the mix.

In the light, this seasonal treat sports a rich purple tone up top with smoky skeleton-like patterns adorning the sidewalls. Smooth leather layers keep things traditional while Nike Air branding sits on the heel and tongue, signalling the cushioning technology in the sole unit. Nike Swooshing blends into the sidewalls, while toe box perforations keep the shoe breathable, a standard that has been kept since its b-ball days in the ‘80s.

The shoe’s defining feature though is the translucent rubber sole underfoot, which changes from a creamy hue to a glowing green colour in the dark, along with the lace jewel on the upper for a more subtle bit of detailing.
