Our adidas Originals ‘The Lost Ones’ series is back, and this year, we have combined it with the winners of the design competition from last year. There were some incredible silhouettes from the ten chosen finalists, showcasing the creativity and effort that can go into reimagining the iconic 3-Stripe canvas.

The winner – Mark Evans – designed an adidas Originals Trimm Star that is a tribute to his wife, who unfortunately was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer 4 years ago. Inspired by the colours of the Thyroid Cancer ribbon, this shoe represents the journey that he and his wife ventured on after the diagnosis.

To celebrate this powerful silhouette and story, we will be hosting a gig at Jimmy’s Bar in Liverpool on the 18^th of September, 19:30 – 22:30. Once again, we have smashed it with the roster for this event, and we can’t wait to see you all there. So, let’s introduce you to the line-up…

Dirty Circus

Fresh from the release of their debut album What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Worse, Wigan’s cult heroes Dirty Circus return after an eagerly anticipated wait. First rising to popularity in the late 00s, their CV boasts an impressive Columbia Records deal, Happy Mondays tour support, and Glastonbury performance. Parting ways before they could really take off, however, after 10 years they’re now back – and with an army of fans at their disposal – ready to take over.

Fauna

Receiving airplay from the likes of Radio X and BBC Music Introducing, Manchester-based quartet Fauna blend a classic indie sensibility with some personal sentiments. Featuring on several emerging indie playlists, as well as this year’s Sound City line-up, they’re certainly standing out as ones to watch from a city brimming with talent.

Evie Moran

Highlighted by Getintothis as having “the voice to light up your life”, 19-year-old singer-songwriter Evie Moran is making real waves in the local scene. Having appeared at Folk On the Dock Festival, Threshold Festival and FOCUS Wales, as well as receiving airplay from BBC Introducing, her stripped-back storytelling continues to captivate audiences on an ever growing scale.
