Introducing our new collaboration with New Balance – the ‘College Pack’. For this capsule, we have reimagined two of New Balance’s staple designs: the court-ready 550 and the track icon 574. On top of reimagining two of our favourite silhouettes, the collection also includes an array of varsity-inspired apparel to wear with the trainers.

The 550 is one of the most eye-catching out of the vast New Balance archive; first released in 1989, the model was originally a basketball silhouette. One of our favourite NB designs, we have reimagined the design with a crisp colourway, ready for your summer rotation.  Our exclusive 550 still radiates ‘80s b-ball nostalgia, arriving with mesh detailing, plus smooth and perforated leather on the upper.

While white dominates the trainer, hits of bold orange stand out the most, most notably on the signature ‘N’ logos and 550 branding. To balance out the colours, the laces and midsole are coated in cream, while the outsole continues the grey and orange tones. To sign things off, the shoe features further tonal branding on the midsole, plus there is a large NB-branded patch on the tongue.

We have also reimagined one of our favourite New Balance models – the 574. One of the most popular in the vast NB archive, the model first dropped in 1988, and – due to its timeless style – it is still making moves today. Our exclusive 574 is drenched in retro running nostalgia; furry suede uppers combine with a mesh base – a classic combination on the tracks.

The upper is also coated in a striking tone of orange, plus there is crisp white branding, laces and inner lining. More branding is situated on the tongue, heel and insole for a classic look. It wouldn’t be a New Balance shoe without elite cushioning technology – this one arrives with an ENCAP midsole for lightweight cushioning and all-day foot support. A grippy rubber tread beneath keeps you on your feet throughout wear.

What’s more, the collection includes an assortment of college-inspired apparel for your summer rotation. Included is a group of soft cotton tees, featuring classic NB branding. For snug, casual comfort, you can choose from classic sweats and hoodies too. Feast your eyes on the collection below…

The size? x New Balance ‘College Pack’ trainers land on Thursday 8th July, while the apparel will be released the following day. The shoes arrive in men’s and women’s sizes and are priced between £80 and £110.
