Nike’s Air Presto returns with its OG “Crimson/Siren Red” colourway
Nike’s Air Presto first landed at the turn of the century in 2000, and it boasted five dots on the midsole which signalled its part in the brand’s Alpha Project – a collection of Nike’s most innovative and fashion-forward trainers.
Designed by Tobie Hatfield – Tinker’s brother – this model was built with comfort in mind and was dubbed the ‘t-shirt for the foot’, due to its cosy, sock-like fit which didn’t feel like a regular trainer.
Now, the Nike Air Presto “Crimson/Siren Red” is back with its OG vibrant glow up – this trainer is enough to brighten anyone’s day up. This silhouette was originally part of the exclusive co.jp collection, and its limited availability made it widely sought-after around the globe.
Up top, it is comfort as usual, with vibrant, sunrise-inspired mesh with the trainer’s legendary midfoot cage for added protection. Adding to this, Swooshes appear on the midsole and toe box while there’s an Air graphic just under the heel. EVA midsoles enhance the cushioning underfoot, and a multi-tonal outsole adds to the sturdiness below.
The Nike Air Presto “Crimson/Siren Red” will be available on the size? launches app soon. It is available in men’s and women’s sizes and is priced at £115.
