Comfortable, stylish and innovative – New Balance appeals to the masses with its versatile footwear and its abundance of legendary designs.

After decade-long reigns for some of their models, the brand likes to celebrate some of its defining trainers. Now, the Made In UK 991 has turned 20, so a celebration is arriving in the form of an anniversary special.

First launching in 2001, the 991 was part of New Balance’s 99x series and it swiftly became a trainer of choice for a variety of consumers for its versatile design. This latest release is a must-have for OG wearers of the shoe or newcomers who want a piece of New Balance heritage – either way, it’ll be one of their standout releases of 2021.

Crafted in New Balance’s UK Flimby factory, it comes with creamy seasonal hues across its upper, opting for a breathable mesh base with smooth nubuck overlays. Signature ‘N’ sidewall branding is an obvious addition, while a special edition ‘2001’ is stitched onto the heel. Plush cushioning is provided as usual, with a chunky ABZORB sole unit that’s constructed from a shock-absorbing blend of foam and compression materials to serve up top-quality comfort from the moment you step in.

The Made In UK 991 will be available on our site from Friday 26th February. It’s available in men’s and women’s sizes and is priced at £180. Good luck!
