2021 is here and we’re kicking things off with an all-new Creators Series – in partnership with Converse – to celebrate and highlight the creative talent in our community.

Our original Creators Series began at the start of March 2020’s Lockdown and showcased the creative talent within the industry and student community with the aim to inspire and educate our audience. 

With the launch of the Converse Creators Series, we’re continuing to highlight and support the emerging and established talent around the globe.

First up is @claudiaabadiia and her take on the court classic Chuck Taylor All Star 70’s, check out her spin on the icon below.

Shedding some light on her experience, Claudia told us,

“I could say that fashion is my life as I have spent all my life close to it, behind the desk in stores, in an atelier, studying and also imagining, designing and sewing my designs,”

“I studied Pattern Making and Fashion, and during this stage, I had the opportunity to start acquiring technical knowledge about pattern making and sewing.”

“Currently, I am designer for a clothing brand called The Kript, Los Ángeles and in my free time, I love transforming and customizing my own stuff and designs which I show and sell through my social profiles.”

Speaking about her involvement in our latest series, Claudia said, 

“It was amazing to work on the Converse Creator Series project as I could design a dreamed shoes, I mixed several concepts and I really enjoyed the process. Before they arrived at my home I already had in mind what I wanted to do.”

“Before this project, I made some jeans with recycled converse, which I cut and added to the waist of an old pair of pants that I found in a vintage store.”

“I would like to say thanks to size? and converse for giving me the opportunity of being part of this project!”
