The Air Jordan 12 is back in an ‘Indigo’ guise
Initially touching down in the 1996-97 NBA season, the Jumpman donned the Air Jordan 12 – aka Air Jordan XII – as he led the Chicago Bulls to their fourth title. Now, the court icon is back in a rich ‘Indigo’ colourway.
Dreamt up by the genius that is Tinker Hatfield, MJ’s twelfth signature sneaker was the first Air Jordan model to boast Zoom Air technology in the midsole, and it also picked up where the Air Jordan XI left off with a carbon fibre shank in the midfoot that provided lightweight yet solid support.
This iteration retains the cushioning Zoom tech and supportive carbon fibre midfoot shank and comes built with full-grain leather uppers for durability and comfort in equal measure. Shades of dyed indigo blue and white appear across the top, while signature Jumpman branding decorates the tongue and sockliner.
For a finishing touch, MJ’s number 23 decorates each heel to round off the look, and the b-ball classic comes housed in classic packaging for a throwback feel.
