Celebrate an icon with the Reebok ‘Classics by size?’ Club C
We’ve always been big fans of some of the classic styles that sit within the Reebok lineup, and after first teasing back in January, it’s now time for us to unveil our Reebok ‘Classics by size?’ collection and first on the bill is a model that needs no introduction, the Club C.
A favourite among casual athletes at the time, Reebok’s tennis-ready Club C was first released in 1985 and designed for “the club player who needs a durable performance tennis shoe.”. It was essentially a rebranded version of the brand’s Revenge Plus trainer, which was rechristened the Club Champion before simply being shortened to the ‘Club C’.
Its clean aesthetic and simplistic design is what’s made the 35-year-old silhouette maintain its popularity year upon year, and that’s why we’ve decided to include the Club C in our ‘Classics by size?’ collection.
Taking a subtle approach, we’ve executed the pair with a host of high-quality materials throughout that make it look as though it’s been pulled straight out of an archive catalogue. Up top, they’re built from vintage chalk leather and boast a snug, French-terry towelled lining for slip-on comfort. We’ve added exposed foam tongues to create a style that’s more true to the era, and we’ve replaced Reebok’s usual blue and red branding with our signature orange and black hues as a celebration of our 20th anniversary.
They’re premium, they’re clean, and they’re the first Reebok ‘Classics by size?’.
