“The very first Jordan Retro I was able to afford. I was chasing it in Paris and finally got my hands on it. A nice additional touch: I met Tinker Hatfield – the shoe’s designer – in Paris when he was visiting the French Nike headquarters and he signed them for me.”

Nike Air Max 97 Jacquard ‘Rio De Janeiro’ – 2014

“When I started as an intern at Nike back in 2015 I didn’t have the strongest sneaker collection to be fair. I remember one of my mentors, Bouchaib, gifted me with this grail because it didn’t fit him and he wanted me to look fresh in front of clients. I will never forget that feeling, I was so grateful and just wanted to wear them at every meeting.”

“This style is just perfect to me; the suede upper and symmetrical lacing system give it a special yet casual look – they fit with everything and are so comfortable. I’m still desperately looking for another pair as these are outworn and in my top 3 favourite sneakers of all time.”

Nike Air Max 1 x Atmos ‘Elephant 2.0’ – 2017

“2017 saw probably one of the best and busiest Air Max Months to date. Nike launched the ‘Master of Air’ project and created the AM1 Master.

“The public voted for the Air Max 1 Atmos to be reissued, two OG iterations of the Air Max 1 were launched in their OG shape, and Nike launched their latest innovation in Air Max technology, the Vapormax.”

Nike Air Force 1 ‘Roc-A-Fella’ – 2017

“AF1 is my favourite franchise. I’ve always worn triple white AF1s – they’re timeless and go with everything. I’m a huge Hip-Hop fan so seeing the AF1 Roc-A-Fella getting a wider launch, following up from the 100 promo pairs back in 1999, gave me goosebumps.

“The execution of them was better than anything I’d ever seen before; the quality of the leather is insane. So good, I have 3 pairs!”

Nike Air Max 1 x Parra – 2018 

“This shoe marked a turning point in my life. It launched in the summer of 2018 and I moved to Amsterdam to start a new role at Nike as the Account Executive for size? and Footpatrol. It is still one of my favourite shoes to date. The incredible artwork is done the Amsterdam-based artist, Parra, and my personal connection makes it even more special to me.”

Nike Air Max 180 x size? ‘Dusk to Dawn’ – 2018

“Back in September 2018, I’d just started my new role at Nike and my manager and now friend, Jon Bond, gave these to me. I was so happy; starting a new life, an exciting job role, and rocking my favourite Air Max silhouette – what a start.”

Nike React Element 87 x UNDERCOVER – 2018

“In my eyes, this is the best Nike innovation in recent years. The tooling is insane and this UNDERCOVER collaboration in the green colourway is my favourite execution on this silhouette to date.”

Air Jordan 1 Retro High x Union – 2018

“When I heard that LA-based brand, Union, were collaborating with Jordan on my favourite Jordan silhouette it got me excited. The execution, the quality of the leather on the upper, the suede underlays and that particular Swoosh. GRAIL.”

Nike Zoom Vomero 5 SP – 2019

“These definitely deserve more credit than it receives. The ‘Vast Grey’ is the easiest, low key, every day, all-day sneaker. It’s by far my most worn shoe ever and I’m on a quest to triple it as my two first are outworn.”

Nike Dunk Low ‘Viotech’ – 2019

“The Dunk is the sneaker of my childhood but unfortunately, all my original pairs are now too small for me. The ‘Viotech’ marked the return of Dunk in 2019 and what a comeback it was! This Co.Jp execution was released for the first time since 2013 and I’m aiming to cop each and every Dunk coming back in 2020.”
