On Friday 15th May, we were privileged to have none other than The First Lady of Defected herself, Sam Divine, deliver a size? sessions (20:20 Mix).

A prevalent fixture at some of Ibiza’s most iconic clubs, year upon year, Sam’s held down residencies at Pacha, Mambo, Amnesia, Eden and Ushuaïa, and sharing space with some of the greatest names in dance including Frankie Knuckles, MK, DJ Spen, KiNK and plenty of others.

With a career that can be traced back to hosting pirate radio sets in her mother’s Weston-Super-Mare shed, it’s safe to say her trajectory to becoming one of the most crucial components of the house music scene is unprecedented. 

Since 2015, she’s held the reins of her own successful imprint, DIVINE Sounds. Five years on from its launch and the label has a whopping 58 releases and counting on its roster, propelling some of the greatest up and coming talents into the spotlight.
