The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘White Royal’ is coming soon
It’s hard to keep up with the barrage of Jordan releases, and this season there’s no sign of any let up as the brand is rolling out an all-new ‘White Royal’ colourway of the famed Air Jordan 1.
When it first landed in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 wasn’t without its controversy. Upon its debut on the feet of MJ, it was banned by the NBA as players were expected to wear matching footwear on the basketball court. Nike decided to pay the fine for each on-court appearance, and Michael Jordan went on to make the AJ1 one of the most famous silhouettes of all time.
For this ‘White Royal’ edition, a palatable combination of white, black and blue adorns the silhouette’s genuine leather uppers, plus all the usual branding crops up on the sidewall, lace-surround and tongue tab. As expected with every Air Jordan 1 release, all the standard details remain underfoot: an encapsulated Air midsole unit delivers you superb cushioning, coupled with a rubber outsole for trusted traction on and off the hardwood.
The Air Jordan 1 ‘White Royal’ is set to land on May 9th. It’ll be available via the size? website in both men’s and women’s sizes, priced between £90 – £135.
