size? collections – @Stxylo – DJ, podcaster & creative
We hope you’ve been enjoying our size? collections series as much as we have. We’ve witnessed some exceptional footwear hoards over the last few weeks, and now it’s time for us to showcase another.
For this next instalment, Manchester-based DJ and content creative @Stxylo has shared what styles he’s got tucked away in his locker. There are a few other items that he’s picked up over the years too, carry on scrolling and have a glance.
Nike Air Max 90 ‘Liberty’ – 2014
“This is actually a female shoe but I wasn’t afraid to rock it with pride. Just love how they flipped an Air Max 90 classic into a ’70s floral masterpiece.”
Nike Air Max 1 ‘London’ – 2020
“I was on a trainer ban for over 6 months, but there’s no way I could turn my back on the London as part of the city pack. My first raffle win from size? and one of the best Air Max drops in a long time IMO. The materials are just out of this world.”
Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse ‘Volt’ – 2011
“These are the original Hyperfuse drop before the ID’s got hold of them and removed the beautiful inside ankle cushioning. What more can I say – Comfortable, stylish, and a complete head-turner.”
Nike Air Max 1 MC SP ‘USA Camo’ – 2014
“Probably one of the sickest drops I’ve landed over the years when it comes to Nikes. Super rare and built with solid canvas panels all over, I think these could be in my top 3 sneaker grabs of all time. I take these on all my DJ trips abroad and they’re still holding up 6 years later.”
Nike Air Max 1 iD – 2018
“I have a thing for designing my own trainers, so I had to throw in one of my personal favourites and the first-ever Air Max Premium NikeiD I purchased. Just look at that full cream suede. Beautiful.”
OVO Snapback
“I grabbed this debut snapback release from OVO on my first trip to LA, which happened to coincide with the opening of one of Drake’s very first OVO stores. It has a special place in my heart, I actually never wear the thing just to keep it safe.”
Hip Hop Raised Me & Off-White Concept Book
“These are the two books that keep me inspired. The hip-hop bible from legendary DJ Semtex. My dad got me this for Christmas one year, it’s the best thing he’s ever bought me. As for the Off-White book that was a personal concept piece built by Manchester designer BennyCo. I can sit and flick through either of these for hours.”
