YEEZY Boost 350 v2 ‘Black’ is Back
Showing no letup, Kanye West and adidas Originals are back at it with a re-release of the highly coveted YEEZY Boost 350 v2 ‘Black’.
First touching down at the start of summer, the covertly-coloured pair was an instant hit amongst YEEZY collectors. It sold out within seconds, with queues of customers tailing back in their hundreds waiting to get their hands on a pair. Now, Kanye and adidas are giving those of you who missed out the first time around the chance to add the pair into your collection just in time for the festive season.
Up top, the monochrome pair sees a sleek black hue sweep across the Primeknit fabric. This innovative material moulds to the contours of your feet to deliver a supremely comfortable, sock-like fit. Continuing the new feature that debuted on the model’s ‘Static’ colourway: a semi-transparent mesh panel wraps around the side of the shoe, while reflective laces keep your shoes visible when the lights go down.
As usual, the 350 v2 utilises adidas’ Boost technology. For those who aren’t familiar with this cushioning technology, the shock-absorbing midsole is made from TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) which compresses under impact and instantly springs back to its original shape – making for a cushioned ride each time you step out. Finally, a rubber outsole underfoot blends seamlessly with the pair’s Primeknit uppers and provides sure-footed traction.
