Sadly, summer is reaching its twilight. Those misguided hopes of sun-laden days will soon be all but gone – but thankfully, nobody told the guys over at Nike. The Oregon giants continue to ramp up the volume on their summery colourways – and this iteration of the Air Max 95 may just top the lot.

The gaily release is geared up with layers of vibrant shades – cascading from a sultry purple to a chrome yellow, and then down to a psychic blue and finally to a bold red. The patch-worked palette is swathed in different materials, which includes cord, light washed denim and textiles to the top. Possibly the shoe’s most distinctive feature takes place to the laces, where multi-coloured branding to the tongue is offset by a rather large sunflower and love heart lace-lock. Tying everything together nicely, a white, Air-injected midsole is complemented by a gum rubber outsole underfoot – signing off the head-turner with aplomb.
