A Collector’s Item: Jordan 1 Satin ‘Black Toe’

Here we have the Jordan 1 – wrapped in a supremely rare colourway that collectors have yearned after for decades. The ‘Black Toe’ didn’t actually feature that much during MJ’s long stint at the Chicago Bulls, however, they did make an appearance in tons of promotional ads and Bulls team photos, which elevated the colourway to stardom.

Returning to us in a like-for-like reissue for the first time in years, the pair borrows the same black, white and red from the ’85 OG. The uppers are also handed an exclusive remix: the usual leather is substituted for a premium textile material – which gives off a sleek satin sheen. The sock-liner has been revamped with a silky, inviting fabric for foot-hugging comfort, and last but not least, the limited-edition Jordan boasts a classic white midsole underfoot.
