The All-New Jordan Mars 270

Jordan rolls out the red carpet this season with the grand unveiling of the all-new Mars 270. The debutant’s inspiration dates back to when Oscar-winning director Spike Lee first began collaborating with Jordan in ’89 (those of you who are old enough will remember several of Jordan’s styles featuring within Spike’s classic ‘Do the Right Thing’). Now – thirty years after Spike’s first partnership with Jordan – his son, Jackson Lee, reignites the relationship by lending a hand in the 270’s design.

Smoothly blending elements from the Air Jordan 1, 5, 6 and 7, the Mars 270 arrives with an upper crafted from plush leather. There’s a cut-out sidewall section (clearly pinched from the AJ5) which covers a white Nike Swoosh behind. Underfoot, your feet will be comfortably cushioned with the help of Nike’s 270 Air unit, while NYC-inspired patterns to the outsole pay tribute to both Jackson’s and Spike’s hometown.
