PUMA x Chinatown Market Collection
Turning their head’s to basketball stylings, PUMA joins forces with US streetwear enthusiasts Chinatown Market once more, serving up a fresh selection of Ralph Sampson low shoes this summer.
Back at a time when only a select few players had their own signature silhouettes, Ralph Sampson was one of the first NBA-stars to have his name immortalised across a shoe’s sidewall. The 7’4” giant’s eponymous trainer celebrated its 30th Anniversary earlier this year, and now the whimsical creatives over at the New York-based Chinatown Market label impart their creative spin on the b-ball classic.
Dressed in two clean colourways, each pair sports multiple Formstripes which can be swapped and customised thanks to a discreet Velcro patch to the sidewall. Alongside the trainers, the line-up also features a rainbow-panelled basketball inspired by NYC’s famous streets. It comes stamped with a rather happy-looking smiling face, a symbol which has become synonymous with the Chinatown Market brand.
The PUMA x Chinatown Market collection will be available on Thursday 11th July, via the size? website and in selected size? stores, priced between £50 – £100.
